PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner which suppresses the deformation, separation and the like of an air filter due to sucked wind pressure of an air blower to prevent the intrusion of dust and the like into a unit body caused thereby. SOLUTION: In this air conditioner 1 in which the air filter 7 is disposed on the back side of a suction grille, and the air blower 3 having a fan casing 4 including a bell mouth 14 is disposed on the back side of the air filter 7, rib-shaped projections 17A-17D are disposed on the front outer periphery of the bell mouth 14 while being kept into contact with a grid bar 8 of the air filter 7 to hold the grid bar 8 of the air filter 7 between the suction grille and itself.
