PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination body to be incorporated into a side mirror, which is high in visibility and designability despite less power consumption. SOLUTION: Three convex lens-shaped parts 4d are formed in an outer lens 4 so that they protrude rearward and are provided with a flux collector in a back side thereof. First to fourth forward pieces 6d, 6e, 6f and 6g, which face forward, are provided in portions of an inner housing 6 opposing to the convex lens-shaped parts 4d, respectively. The portions are formed by dividing the corresponding portion of the inner housing 6 into a plurality of portions in the left-to-right direction, and the portions are formed in a step shape which face more rearward as they go to outward in the left-to-right direction. First, second and third gap portions S1, S2 and S3, which face outward in the left-to-right direction, are formed between the adjacent forward pieces 6d, 6e, 6f and 6g. First, second and third light sources 9, 10 and 11 are exposed through the gap portions S1, S2 and S3, while a reflection surface is formed in a front face of each of the forward pieces 6d, 6e, 6f and 6g.
