PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid inconvenience associated with the stopping of an engine while avoiding the restart of the engine when getting in and out, relating to an idling stop control device for a vehicle. SOLUTION: The idling stop control device for the vehicle includes control means implementing idling stop when a predetermined condition is satisfied. It is determined whether a door of the vehicle is open or close, and if the vehicle door is open as the determination result, the implementation of the idling stop is interrupted. In particular, if the idling stop is in implementation when the vehicle door transitions from a closed state to an open state as the determination result, the implementation of the idling stop is immediately released. Alternately, if the vehicle door transitions from an open state to a closed state as the determination result, the interruption of the implementation of the idling stop is maintained for a predetermined time period after the transition.
