PURPOSE: A medical vision system and an image compensating method thereof are provided to indicate the correction area of a user by moving a window on a monitor or changing the size of the window. CONSTITUTION: In a medical vision system and an image compensating method thereof, a graphic processing unit(271) generates a graphic image signal which displays a correction area on a monitor. The graphic processing unit supplies the image signal to the image processing unit. An input unit(273) receives a user control command. A correction controller(277) calculates window area information. The correction control unit controls at least one correction to be performed based on a pixel value.
