<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized, low-cost, and high-precision optical sensor. <P>SOLUTION: The color sensor 10 has transmission spectral sensitivity characteristics for each color of R, G, and B and includes: three light receiving elements PD_R, PD_G, and PD_B for generating optical currents IPD_R, IPD_G, and IPD_B with the magnitude proportional to the amount of light received; a switch circuit 11 for selecting the optical currents IPD_R, IPD_G, and IPD_B; an A/D convertor 12 for converting a selected optical current into a digital signal; a register 13 for storing a digital value from the A/D convertor 12; and a serial interface circuit 14 for outputting the stored digital value through a terminal SCL and a terminal SDA. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
