PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce selection loss in a thresher. SOLUTION: The thresher includes a chaff discharging chamber (15) communicating with a terminal end side of a threshing chamber (2) having an inside threshing cylinder (3), a shaking separation rack (8) reciprocating on a blasting direction of a blasting winnower (5) under the threshing chamber (2), a member (52) for dropping free grains over the rack which is provided at the lower part of the threshing chamber exit (51) formed in the end of the threshing chamber (2), wherein the free grains included in stalks delivered by a stalk feeder (30) are dropped to the shaking separation rack (8). The member (52) is formed into a rod shape, and the base of the free grain dropping member (52) is attached to a fixed part on the lower side of the threshing chamber exit (51), and the end of the free grain dropping member (52) is disposed as a free end on a migration pass for the stalk delivered by the stalk feeder (30).
