PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus of photographing a face picture capable of taking attitudes proper for automatic photographing by a photographed person and photographing by an operator. SOLUTION: An apparatus 1 of photographing a face picture has: a camera 11 that photographs a face of a photographed person; an upper casing 10 in which the camera 11 is housed; and a lower casing 30 to which an operation panel 31 is provided. The upper casing 10 is coupled so as to rotate to the lower casing 30. Thereby, photographing is possible at both positions of a self-photographing position where a direction of the camera 11 of the upper casing 10 and a direction of the operation panel 31 of the lower casing 30 correspond to each other and an operator-photographing position where the both directions are different from each other.
