PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for removing tempura crump, used after deep frying tempura to achieve sanitary and simple cleaning up. SOLUTION: In a body (1) having high temperature heat resisting property, a spring (3) is provided on the inside of a part (2) folded in two, a filter paper holding part (5), the outer peripheral inside of which is provided with a recessed part, and a filter paper holding part (6), are disposed at both ends of the two-folded body (1), and the outer peripheries of the filter paper holding parts (5) and (6) overlap each other. In use, a filter paper sheet (8) is held between the filter paper holding parts (5), (6), grip parts (4a) and (4b) are seized in one hand to fix the filter paper sheet. Further the recessed part of the filter paper holding part (5) and the filter paper holding part (6) coincide with each other, so that even in the case of scooping the deep-fried batter scum, the filter paper sheet does not shift. In throwing away the contaminated filter paper sheet, seizure for the grip parts (4a) and (4b) is loosened to open the grip parts (5) and (6), so that the filter paper sheet is directed downward and the contaminated filter paper is dropped into a garbage can.
