PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyclone separator which can easily take out collected objects, which are collected by rotation of a helical compression portion and entangled with the compression portion, from a collection container. SOLUTION: After rotating air sucked from an air inlet provided in the circumferential direction in the circumference part of a collection container along the nearly cylindrical inner circumference surface, the air is discharged through filter means from a center part of the collection container and relatively large collected objects included in the air are collected by the bottom part of the collection container and relatively small collected objects are collected by the filter means. For that purpose, the cyclone separator includes a compression member having a helically curved surface centering on the vertical axis of the collection container and rotatable around the vertical axis.
