PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical module capable of reducing deterioration of signal quality of a high-speed electric signal. SOLUTION: Control circuits 20 including intersubstrate wiring 22 are collectively arranged at the other ends of two circuit substrates 3 and 5, and two photoelectric conversion parts 2 and 4 are arranged more on the side of card edge connectors 11 and 13 than on a control circuit area R<SB>A</SB>in which the control circuit 20 is disposed.
