PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for acquiring useful biological information, such as information related to the risk of onset, the existence or the absence of onset of a disease including metabolic syndrome, information related to state and the like, of fatigue and so on, or information related to a lifestyle, on the basis of an amount of nicotinamide metabolites in a sample extractable from a living body, in a low-invasive manner. SOLUTION: In the biological information acquiring method, an amount of nicotinamide metabolites in one or more samples extractable from the living body, in a low-invasive manner and selected from among the group constituted of oral mucosa epithelial cells, saliva or epidermal body liquids is measured, and information related to the living body is acquired, on the basis of the measured amount of nicotinamide metabolites.
