LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to improve the efficiency of contrast and to reduce the power consumption on a liquid display mode which uses blue liquid crystal. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal layer(208) includes a liquid crystal material showing a blue image between a second substrate and a first substrate. A transistor is formed between the first substrate and the liquid crystal layer. An insulating layer is between the liquid crystal layer and the transistor. An optical shield layer is overlapped with the transistor. A first electrode layer having a first aperture pattern is electrically connected with the transistor.
