The converter has a power module (3) with a power semiconductor, and a direct current voltage intermediate circuit (2) formed by a plate shaped board. The board is provided with a condenser (5), and the module is formed by a conductor plate (6). The module and the intermediate circuit are directly arranged one above the other in parallel planes. Power electrical connections of the module are formed by a strip shaped conductor line (15) that is fastened to a metal body. The conductor line is electrically connected with the conductor plate via the metal body and is fastened to the plate.
