The device has coils (5) connected with respective coupling parts for inductive energy- and/or data exchange between the parts. A coupling element (7') is arranged at the coils to couple magnetic field, which is generated by one of the coils, with the other coil. The element has a field line guiding unit (8) to guide and/or direct field lines of the field in a direction of the former coil, and a field safety unit (9) to control weakening of the field by automatically produced or received external fields. The safety unit is made of plastic, silicone, resin, ceramics, adhesives, paint or glass. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a dental treatment tool including a dental coupling device (2) a dental cleaning or maintenance device including a dental hand piece with a dental coupling device.
