PURPOSE: An offensive odor backflow prevention device is provided to drain off water smoothly without resistance by opening an opening and closing plate for appointed hours with the weight of drained water, and to maintain the backflow cutoff function of an offensive odor by discharging adulterations flew inward with influent water without the residue. CONSTITUTION: An offensive odor backflow prevention device(10) comprises a flow passage(12) draining off water flew inward from a drain outlet(h) of a cover(100) naturally, a backflow prevention plate(20) hinged to a discharge port and moving downward with deadweight to open and close the discharge port, a water conveyance hole(18) formed on the lower part of the flow passage to circulate a portion of influent water, a water storage portion(30) coupled to the flow passage by a hinge shaft(34) to be movable vertically and moved downward with the weight of water discharged to the water conveyance hole and provided with a drainage delay hole(32) delaying to discharge stored water, an opening portion formed on the water storage portion and moved downward to push out the backflow prevention plate to be opened, and a weight(36) formed on the opposite side of the water storage portion and lifting up the water storage portion after discharging water to the drainage delay hole. |
