PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sticky lubricating composition improved in low- temperature properties by incorporating a specified amount of cis-1,4- polyisoprene and/or a hydrogenated polyisoprene having a specified average mol.wt. into a lubricating oil and/or grease. SOLUTION: This composition is prepared by incorporating a lubricating oil and/or grease in an amount of 1-95 wt.% into cis-1,4-polyisoprene of formula I and/or a hydrogenated polyisoprene of formula II having an average mol.wt. of 10,000-100,000. Preferably, the hydrogenated polyisoprene is one prepared by hydrogenating cis-1,4-polyisoprene to 90% hydrogenation, Preferably, the lubricating oil is at least one selected from among refined mineral oils, synthetic hydrocarbon oils,α-olefin cooligomers, polybutene, diester oils, silicone oils, fluorooils and polyoxyalkylene glycol oils. Preferably, the composition further contains 0.1-40 wt.% thickening component for grease. Preferably, the composition is used by adding it to a lubricating oil used for sliding members relatively sliding or in a bearing between sliding members. |
