The connector (1) has a contact element (2) equipped with a receptacle (12). A rear end (10) of the contact element is received in an insulating element (4), where the contact element and the insulating element are respectively provided with catch elements (8a, 8b). Another insulating element (6) includes a catch element (8c). The contact element and the former insulating element are received in the latter insulating element. The catch elements of the contact element and the insulating element are received in a surrounding wall and inaccessible from outer side of the connector.
