<p>A method for supporting quality of service (QoS) for data flows between an operator network and a user equipment (UE), said UE being connected to a customer premises network (CPN), wherein said data flow is transported on a communication path within said operator network and said CPN, wherein said CPN is connected to said operator network via a home gateway (HGW), said HGW being located within said CPN, wherein the internal structure of said CPN is substantially unknown to said operator network, wherein a resource and admission control subsystem (RACS) controls QoS within said operator network, is characterized in that home resource and admission control function (H-RACF) is provided at said HGW, said H-RACF being capable in controlling QoS within said CPN, wherein signalling messages are exchanged between said H-RACF and said RACS at setting up QoS for said data flow, and wherein said RACS controls QoS on a first part of said communication path within the operator network and said H-RACF controls QoS on a second part of said communication path within the CPN.</p> |
