PURPOSE: A system and method for downloading e-book by means of wireless terminal are provided to enable a user to download a desired e-book book regardless of time and place. CONSTITUTION: A user selects an e-book in a wireless portal page and requests purchase. A service process server(300) processes the user authentication about a wireless terminal and the terminal certification about the wireless terminal user. The service processing server executes a service providing process including the payment about the purchase. A DRM(Digital Rights Management) server(400) downloads the e-book to the wireless terminal by performing an encoding process about the e-book.
