PURPOSE: A triphenylamine-based electroluminescent dye compound is provided to ensure an absorption function of ultraviolet ray and visible ray and light emitting function and to enable use as an electron transport material in an electroluminescence device. CONSTITUTION: A triphenylamine-based electroluminescent dye compound is represented by chemical formula 1a, 1b and 1c. A method for preparing the triphenylamine-based electroluminescent dye compound comprises a step of performing Knoevenagel condensation of mono-, di-, tri-4-formaldehyde triphenylamine as a starting material with 1,3-indanedione in an n-butanol solvent.
