PURPOSE: A composition for biodegradable foam is provided to maximize vinylacetate and polylactic acids by containing a polylactic acid master batch and a polyolefin-based elastomer and to exhibit high melt tension by a reaction with nano-sized calcium carbonate. CONSTITUTION: A composition for biodegradable foam includes (A) 100.0 parts by weight of an ethylene-vinylacetate copolymer with a vinyl acetate content of 10~30 weight%, (B) 5~150 parts by weight of polylactic acid master batch comprising 5~70 parts by weight of ethylene-alkyl acrylate copolymer, 5~70 parts by weight of ethylene-vinylacetate copolymer, 3~70 parts by weight of calcium carbonate with a grain diameter size of 20~500 nm, (C) 10~50 parts by weight of ethylene-hexene copolymer elastomer or ethylene-octene copolymer elastomer, (D) 1~10 parts by weight of foaming agent, and (E) 0.1~1.0 parts by weight of cross-linking agent.
