摘要 PURPOSE: An apparatus for inspecting the wheel alignment of a vehicle is provided to stably obtain accurate and reliable wheel alignment measurement by blocking the inflow of external noise lights. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for inspecting the wheel alignment of a vehicle comprises a transmission unit(120), a light collecting unit(140), a receiving unit(160), and a substrate unit(170). The transmission unit comprises an infrared light emitting device which is installed inside a hollow casing(110) and generates infrared ray and a convex lens(125) which delivers the infrared ray from the infrared light emitting device to the front. The light collecting unit condenses the infrared ray from the transmission unit to a slit(132) formed in an external light blocking plate(130) in the hollow casing. The receiving unit comprises a CCD(Charge Coupled Device) image sensor(162) which receives the infrared ray passing through the slit and outputs voltage varied according to the incidence position of the infrared ray. The substrate unit, in which the infrared light emitting device and the CCD image sensor of the receiving unit are fixed, is embedded with a light receiving circuit for filtering and buffering the output voltages from the driving circuit of the infrared light emitting device and the CCD image sensor to be output as a sensing signal.
