Apparatus and methods for treating allograft products

An apparatus and method for treating allografts. The apparatus includes a sonication tank configured to transmit ultrasonic energy to the interior of the tank. The sonication tank contain a sonication fluid. The apparatus includes a treatment canister supported by the sonication tank, the treatment canister is configured to receive and rotatably position allografts within. The treatment canister is sealed with respect to the sonication tank such that the sonication fluid cannot enter the interior of the treatment canister. The apparatus further includes a treatment fluid source having a line in fluid communication with, and rotatably coupled to, the treatment canister. The treatment fluid source is configured to supply a treatment fluid to the interior of the treatment canister supported by the sonication tank. The line is configured to allow simultaneous rotation of the canister and exchange of the treatment fluid within the treatment canister. The apparatus further includes a fluid control system adapted to allow exchanging of the treatment fluid in the treatment canister without removing the allografts from the treatment canister.
