<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suitable system for controlling the delivery of power to direct-current (DC) computer components. <P>SOLUTION: A method and device are disclosed for controlling the delivery of power to DC components such as computer components, microprocessors or the like. A design is presented for voltage regulation modules 118 appropriate for faster components, lower voltages, and higher currents. According to an embodiment, the invention is particularly suitable for applications involving sudden changes in load conductance as well as computer applications, power and electronic devices, and systems particularly requiring low voltage and high current, even in a shared time domain of a microsecond or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
