<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vide display device in which a user can readily select an image signal. <P>SOLUTION: A display area in a display part of a projector is divided into a plurality of windows, when a history image display mode is performed. An image based on a currently selected image signal is displayed in a main window 100. A history image which is an image based on an image signal selected in the past is displayed in sub-windows 102-104, in accordance with chronological order. Regarding the history image, when the image signal is moving image data, only a still image generated from the moving image data is displayed. When the user desires to switch an input image, the user performs an operation to select a desired history image on a screen using a remote controller or a manipulation portion. When the manipulation for selecting history image is performed, the projector selects an input terminal, corresponding to the selected history image and makes the image by the image signal from the input terminal be displayed in the main window 100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
