<p>Disclosed is a spun yarn for fiber-reinforced resins which is a blended yarn (3a, 3b) consisting of a natural plant fiber and a synthetic fiber, wherein said synthetic fiber is a thermoplastic synthetic fiber capable of serving as a matrix resin in an FRP. Also disclosed is an intermediate for fiber-reinforced resins which is a woven fabric, knitted fabric, multiaxial-inlay warp knitted fabric or braided article formed of the aforesaid spun yarn for fiber-reinforced resins. Also disclosed is a molded article of a fiber-reinforced resin which is obtained by heating said intermediate for fiber-reinforced resins at a mold temperature equal to or higher than the melting point of said synthetic fiber and press-molding, or aligning said spun yarn for fiber-reinforced resins at least in one direction, heating the same at a mold temperature equal to or higher than the melting point of said synthetic fiber and press-molding. Thus, the spun yarn for fiber-reinforced resins, which shows high unity between the natural plant fiber and the synthetic fiber and has good moldability, can be obtained at a low cost and the intermediate and the molded article of a fiber-reinforced resin using the same can be provided.</p> |
