<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic powder coating apparatus which can apply uniformly powders to a target such as foods utilizing electrostatic force. <P>SOLUTION: The electrostatic powder coating apparatus includes a screen 2 having a mesh, a screen brush 3 rubbing the powder into the screen 2, a hopper 40 supplying the powder to the screen brush 3, a conveyor 10 conveying the target 1, and a lift mechanism 20 receiving the target 1 conveyed by the conveyor 10 to lift it up to a powder coating position while moving the target 1 in a direction traversing the screen 2. The lift mechanism 20 is constituted to convey the target 1 along a travelling route in which the powder coating position is a peak.
