PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in image forming systems, wherein it has taken longer to calculate a setting value and set it to an image processing chip because an image processing controller has been operatively improved, so an FCOT (Fast Copy Time) has been also affected by a setting time to the image processing chip, in addition to a conventional mechanical operating time. SOLUTION: The image forming system determines whether a mode is the FCOT and starts up a setting module to the image processing chip preceding the mechanical preparation operation.
