An intraocular lens insertion device having a novel configuration, wherein the movement of a support section when an intraocular lens is pushed out by a push-out member is successfully controlled to avoid damage to the support section caused by the support section being sandwiched between the push-out member and a device body or by other reasons. An intraocular lens insertion device is configured in such a manner that, with the displacement of a rear support section (20b) toward the convex side of an optical section (18), which can be deformed in a curved shape, restricted by an engaging section (86) provided to the tip surface of a push-out member (16), the rear support section (20b) is deformed in a curved shape in the direction in which the rear support section (20b) approaches the optical section (18). The configuration allows, when the intraocular lens (12) is pushed out by the push-out member (16), the rear support section (20b) to enter a gap formed on the concave side of the optical section (18) which has been deformed in a curved shape. |
