PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an imaging apparatus capable of appropriately suppressing a shake in accordance with a state of the shake, and to achieve a program the imaging apparatus. SOLUTION: In the imaging apparatus including functions of mechanical type shake correction and sensitivity type shake reduction, an object shake amount is calculated on the basis of a shake motion vector obtained while displaying a through image, and the using ratio of the functions of mechanical type shake correction and sensitivity type shake reduction is successively set on the basis of the calculated object shake amount. Then, when taking a still picture, still image data, after the shake correction by the functions of mechanical type shake correction and sensitivity type shake reduction performed in accordance with the using ratio recently set, is recorded.
