The dedusting unit has a tank valve (11) for generating compressed-air impulses for dedusting filter elements (5a) of a filter (5) i.e. rigid body filter, where generation of compressed-air impulses takes place by opening the tank valve. The tank valve is opened by ventilation via a non-return valve (12). Control compressed-air impulses for controlling the non-return valve are introduced via a connection opening of the non-return valve. The tank valve and the non-return valve are arranged in an explosion-free environment, or the tank valve is arranged in an explosion-prone environment.
