PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection forming fixture which can form projections such as meeting predetermined requirements by easily performing an operation, starting with one side of the plate material even in narrow working environments. SOLUTION: This projection forming fixture includes a receiving side component with an installed shaft and a movable side component which is arranged opposite to the receiving side component and has a hole through which the shaft runs. In addition, the plate material is inserted between the mutually opposite surfaces of the receiving side component and the movable side component, and then, the movable side component is moved along the shaft. As a result, the projection can be formed on the plate material. The shaft includes a threaded part formed on the apex side of the shaft and a guide groove extending in the axial direction of the shaft, is formed in the threaded part. Besides, the hole part of the movable side component has a fitting piece which fits into the guide groove, and the movable side component can be pressed into the receiving side component by rotating a nut screwed into the threaded part of the shaft which runs through the movable side component.
