WHITE LIGHT EMITTING DIODE PACKAGE

PURPOSE: A white light emitting diode package is provided to improve color expression due to excellent green pigment expression, to ensure excellent stability and reliability, and to enhance the efficiency and brightness of a white light emitting diode. CONSTITUTION: A white light emitting diode package comprises: an electroluminescent device emitting blue light; a first fluorescent substance emitting green light excited by the wavelength of the electroluminescent device emitting blue light; and a second fluorescent substance emitting red light excited by the wavelength of the electroluminescent device emitting blue light and the wavelength of the first fluorescent substance. The first fluorescent substance uses β-type sialon of chemical formula: Si_(6-z)Al_zO_zN_(8-z)(0<=z<=4.2) as a base material. A β-type sialon fluorescent substance employing Eu as a light emitting core and a silicate-based green fluorescent substance are mixed in a predetermined ratio.
