<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a uniform magnetic field over a wide range without enlarging a diameter of a coil. <P>SOLUTION: An active magnetic shield 10 includes: a Helmholtz coil unit where multiple Helmholtz coil units 110A and 110B are provided in the same axis; a current supply unit 160 that supplies current to each of the multiple Helmholtz coils 110A and 110B; and a control unit 180 that controls the current supply unit so that the Helmholtz coils to which the current is to be supplied are switched and the current is supplied to the Helmholtz coil after the coils are switched. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
