PURPOSE: A backlight unit and liquid crystal display device having the same are provided to minimize occurrence of an irregular mura by having a hook shaped fixing member at a bottom cover. CONSTITUTION: A backlight unit and includes a bottom cover, a printed circuit substrate, a light emitting diode package, a diffusion plate, and a hook shaped fixing member(930). The printed circuit substrate is arranged on the bottom cover by having a constant interval. The light emitting diode package is arranged on the printed circuit substrate. The diffusion plate diffuses the light generated from the light emitting diode package by arranged on the light emitting diode package. The hook shaped fixing member fixes a supporting member and a printed circuit substrate on the bottom cover. |
