<p>Provided is an improved vehicle AC generator control device capable of, when a target voltage value is changed from a high target voltage value to a low target voltage value by an external control unit, reducing the undershoot of a battery voltage value. A voltage control unit in the vehicle AC generator control device comprises: a target voltage adjusting means for adjusting a target voltage value according to a target change command from an external control unit; and a gradual excitation control circuit for, when a vehicle load increases and when the target voltage value is reduced to a lower value by the target voltage adjusting means, performing control so that an excitation duty increases according to the control characteristics of the excitation duty. The gradual excitation control circuit includes a duty characteristic changing means for changing the excitation duty control characteristics. The duty characteristic changing means changes the incremental speed of the excitation duty in a predetermined region of the excitation duty control characteristics, as compared with that in the other region.</p> |
