PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display which can brightly illuminate even in a display section of small area and has improved designability by suppressing the light reflection of light on an outer face. SOLUTION: In an operation knob 1 as the display, both a light guide body 3 and the resin base 2 are integrated by the front section 3a of the light guide body 3 passing through the resin base 2, part of an insert film 4 attached to the outer face of the resin base 2 covers the front end face of the light guide body 3, the first and second display sections 4a, 4b of the film 4 can be illuminated by the light of a light sources 5, 6. When manufacturing the operation knob 1, a male mold 7 in which the light guide body 3 is loaded and a female mold 8 in which the insert film 4 is loaded are clamped and molten resin 10 is injected and filled into a cavity C, thereby the resin base 2 is molded. In that case, texturing is applied on the outer face of the insert film 4 by applying a clamping force to a region A1 corresponding to the first display section 4a via the light guide body 3 and texturing is applied to the residual regions A2, A3 under the injection pressure of the molten resin 10.
