<p>Disclosed is a charge control circuit which is provided with: a charge control unit that controls operations of a charging unit which charges a secondary cell; a voltage detecting unit, which detects the terminal voltage of the secondary cell; and a current detecting unit which detects a current flowing in the secondary cell. In the charge control circuit, the charge control unit makes the charging unit perform constant current charging by making the charging unit supply a charging current of a predetermined set current value to the secondary cell. At the same time, in the case where the terminal voltage detected by means of the voltage detecting unit is equal to a predetermined threshold voltage value, while performing the constant current charging, the charge control unit repeats, a plurality of times, constant-current and constant-voltage charging, wherein constant voltage charging is performed by means of the charging unit by having the charging voltage of the threshold voltage value supplied to the secondary cell from the charging unit until the current value detected by means of the current detecting unit is equal to the predetermined threshold current value. Furthermore, the charge control unit increases the threshold voltage and reduces the set current value and the threshold current value every time the constant-current and constant-voltage charging is repeated.</p> |
