<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source unit using light-emitting elements, wherein a plurality of light-emitting elements that constitute a light-emitting source can be cooled efficiently with high uniformity, thereby suppressing decline in the light emitted intensity, as well as, uneven illumination at the face to be illuminated. <P>SOLUTION: The light source unit using light-emitting elements includes a heat sink upon which a plurality of light-emitting units, with each of which being constituted of one or more light-emitting elements, are arranged at the top face thereof. The heat sink is provided with one or more cooling flow paths for allowing a cooling medium flow on one or the plurality of light-emitting units at an upper-face side level of the heat sink. Flow-in ports and flow-out ports for the cooling medium provided within the cooling flow paths are connected to a supply flow path and a discharge flow path for the cooling medium which are formed at level lower than a face-side level of the heat sink than the cooling flow paths. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
