PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel where external force is prevented from being exerted on a diaphragm device in the case of caulking and fixing a lens after attaching the diaphragm device to a lens barrel main body first, and which is prevented from getting larger and assembled with good working efficiency. SOLUTION: This lens barrel is constituted to attach the lens to a lens holding part 1a formed in the lens barrel main body 1 by caulking processing from either side in an optical axis direction after attaching the diaphragm device to the main body 1. In such a case, the holding part 1a is cylindrically formed and provided with a supporting receiving part 1d for supporting the main body 1 from the other side in the optical axis direction in the case of caulking processing on its outer periphery.
