Screen-printable composition comprises at least one screen printing medium, at least one indium compound, at least one tin compound and at least one low molecular weight hydrolyzable silicon compound, where the indium compound and tin compound are selected such that the compounds are suitable for forming indium tin oxide. An independent claim is included for producing a transparent, conductive layer comprising applying the above composition on a substrate and forming a conductive indium tin oxide layer.
