A method, comprising: automatically associating a wireless radio transceiver of a removable media card having a memory array storing digital images captured by a digital camera host with a wireless network according to configuration information stored in a memory location not used for storing digital images and not accessible to the digital camera host; and transferring one or more of the digital images from the media card to a computer system at least in part through the wireless network.
