TERMINAL AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING USER INTERFACE USING FINGERPRINT IDENTIFICATION

PURPOSE: An UI providing terminal using the fingerprint recognition and a method thereof are provided to increase a convenience by providing an UI according a program using pattern of the user and authenticates a user by a fingerprint. CONSTITUTION: A touch screen(110) includes a sensor recognizing a fingerprint. A UI(User Interface) storage(130) stores UI configuration information corresponding to the fingerprint information. A controller(140) recognizes the fingerprint through the touch screen and stores the fingerprint information to fingerprint information storing unit(120). The controller configures an UI according to program use pattern of a user and stores the UI configuring information.
