The pipe (1) has a latching unit present at an end of the pipe. An attachment element includes a latching nose that is locked by the latching unit. The pipe and the latching unit form a closed pipe wall (2) such that entry of secondary air into the pipe is controlled by the latching unit. The latching unit is formed as a recess of the pipe wall, where an aperture is formed in the pipe wall. An insert (3) forming the latching unit is inserted into the aperture. The insert and/or pipe have a fastening unit to form-fittingly connect the insert and the wall. The insert is made of plastic or metal.
