PURPOSE: A device for storing and cooling core melted materials for the initial cooling stabilization of core melted materials is provided to maximally eliminate heat remaining in the core melted materials. CONSTITUTION: A cooling water flowing path(142) is connected to a cooling water storing tank by a cooling water supplying pipe. A compressed gas flowing path(144) is connected to a compressed gas storing tank by a compressed gas supply flowing path. A cooling nozzle(141) is connected to a cooling water flowing path and a compressed gas flowing path. A sacrifice layer(148) is laminated on the cooling nozzle.
