<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bottle made of a polyethylene terephthalate resin that is free from outer appearance defect caused by a deformation resulting from an increased or decreased pressure applied to the bottle. <P>SOLUTION: The barrel of the bottle made of the polyethylene terephthalate resin, formed by biaxial stretching blow, has oblong panel walls 2 for pressure change absorption, which are depressed vertically long and parallel to one another. Further, the bottle made of the polyethylene terephthalate resin has bulging parts 3 for pressure change absorption such that the entire panel wall bulges out. A vertically long recess 4 is formed inward in the middle of each bulging part 3. The projection area of the peripheral line L4 of the recess 4 is 52 to 72% of the projection area of the peripheral line L3 of the bulging part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
