<p>The method involves obtaining a sequence of data blocks to be transmitted on a communications channel. Acknowledgement information (PDAN) for the blocks of the sequence is received from an addressee unit. Transmission of the blocks of the sequence on the channel is controlled based on transmission control information, where the control information includes the acknowledgement information and a fade indicator derived from the acknowledgement information and from an estimated quantity (v) relating to a speed of movement of a mobile station.</p> |
