PURPOSE: A rotary toothbrush is provided to prevent generation of tartar to the utmost by bringing the bristles of the toothbrush into contact with the bottom of front teeth. CONSTITUTION: A rotary toothbrush comprises: a handle(210) in which a lever is installed; a head unit(220) in which bristles of the toothbrush are transplanted in the bottom surface thereof and a rotary shaft is perpendicularly installed in the upper side thereof; a tilting member which tilts upward around a tilting axis by an actuating rod connected with the lever; a rotation drive member; and a stopper member which prevents the rotary shaft from rotating at more than a predetermined angle.
