PURPOSE: A processing and method of a video signal are provided to increase a compression encoding efficiency of a video signal by increasing correlation using newly defined visual image type. CONSTITUTION: A video signal processing method includes as follows: a step of receiving a video signal including information about a plurality of frame; a step of obtaining a plurality of frames form the received video signal; a step of obtaining frame information showing whether a current frame is a first method frame or a second method frame; a step of converting the first method frames into the second method frames among the plurality of frames based on the frame information.
