PURPOSE: A method and device for controlling a network through a network packet analysis of a personal computer are provided to control a network connection of a personal computer through a network packet analysis transmitted from a personal computer. CONSTITUTION: A monitoring unit(210) monitors a network packet transmitted through a communication port connected to a personal computer. A analyzing unit(220) analyzes the network packet by comparing with a set packet pattern. According to the analysis result, the connection control unit controls a network connection with the personal computer. The communication port is a mirror port or a general port. The mirror port transmits a network packet transmitted from the personal computer to a monitoring unit by sniffing.
